COSEC and AEP sign protocol to support exports and internationalization

Lisbon, September 27, 2017 - COSEC, the leading insurer in Portugal in credit and bond insurance, and AEP – Associação Empresarial de Portugal – have just signed a protocol aimed at the development of cooperation instruments to foster the competitiveness of national companies and their exports, as well as to support companies in the internationalization process.

The protocol was signed by the President of AEP, Paulo Nunes de Almeida, and by COSEC Chairwoman, Maria Celeste Hagatong. The agreement aims to increase the exports of goods and services of Portuguese origin, and to diversify the export markets - particularly the higher-risk markets - through the dissemination of credit insurance products, their adaptation to different markets and industries, and the creation of focus groups for this purpose.
